Privacy Policy
Tutorgent is not yet built or launched. This page covers our pre-launch feedback-collection experience only — a "coming soon" page where visitors can share their opinion of the idea before it exists. This experience is for adults; anyone who selects "Under 18" cannot submit the form, and no data from a self-identified minor is ever collected or stored.
What we collect
If you submit the feedback form, we store your first name, last name, email address, gender, age range (18+), whether the idea is relevant to you and/or your children, a like or dislike reaction, whether you'd like to be notified at launch, which highlighted feature appealed to you most, how much you'd be willing to pay monthly, and an optional comment. We also record which surface you submitted from (web, Android, or iOS) and, if you chose "Someone I know," the name and email of each person you referred.
We automatically derive your approximate location (country / state / city) from your network connection — never GPS, never a permission prompt. We also store a salted, one-way hash of your IP address for abuse detection; the IP address itself is never stored.
If you just visit the site, we count your visit anonymously. If you
accept our cookie-consent prompt, one first-party cookie
(tutorgent_vid) lets us avoid recounting the same repeat
visitor for up to 730 days. If you decline, we still count the visit, but
with a temporary identifier that isn't stored on your device. We use no
third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts — this cookie is
the only one this site sets, and it's never used for tracking, profiling,
or ads.
Why we collect it
- Feedback and willingness-to-pay data: to shape the product before we build it.
- Email address: to reply if needed, and — only if you say yes — to notify you at launch.
- Referral name/email: solely to send that person a single, one-time introductory email. Never added to a marketing list.
- Visit counter and location/channel: aggregate interest analytics only, never tied back to who you are.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or share it for marketing or advertising. It is processed by the infrastructure providers that run this site, acting strictly as our processors: Cloudflare (hosting, database, and serverless functions) and Resend (sends the two transactional emails described above). No other third party receives your data.
How long we keep it
Feedback and visit records are kept until an administrator deletes them — there is currently no automatic expiry. One exception: if you refer someone, a minimal record that they've already received the one-time introduction is kept indefinitely, independent of your feedback record, so they can never be emailed twice even if your submission is later deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or to stop contacting you, at any time, by emailing feedback@tutorgent.ai. As a pre-launch, founder-run project, requests are handled personally rather than through an automated portal.
Where your data is processed
This site runs on Cloudflare's global network. As a pre-launch project, data is not yet split by region; full data-residency separation is a requirement for the launched product and will be reflected here once that infrastructure exists.
Security
Your email address is stored once, in plain text, so we can reply to you and send the launch notification you opted into; a separate salted hash of it is kept only to detect duplicate submissions. Your IP address is never stored — only a salted, irreversible hash. The admin dashboard that can view or delete this data is separately authenticated and not publicly reachable.

We'll update this page as the product changes, and the effective date above will reflect the latest revision.
